Abstract
This article analyzes the importance of social dialogue committees as a tool that transcends traditional collective bargaining processes and the judicial system in Colombia. Through the Swedish Workplace Programme (SWP), developed in collaboration with the Swedish Embassy in Colombia and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, the study examines how these committees can drive real transformations in labor relations. The analysis focuses on the implementation of the program in eight Colombian companies, observing the changes in organizational culture and labor relations resulting from it. Through these committees, a collaborative approach is promoted, aiming to resolve labor disputes more efficiently and effectively, providing solutions tailored to the specific needs of each sector and company. The article also highlights how these committees can be a useful tool to improve labor inclusion, employment formalization, and reduce wage gaps, extending their potential beyond businesses to the design of inclusive labor public policies.
